The DB-9 connectors proved power form the terminal to external drives. The RS232 port was usually fitted. The 34 pin connector (standard parallel port) was fitted if needed but never actually saw it used as most customers use the Qume/Nec interface as it was better..  Usually the Qume & Nec printers were driven by a  flat 50 way ribbon cable that came out under the strain relief clamp.

The ministore case was common to most systems.  It housed the floppy drives and/or the hard disk (either 5 or 10 Mb ) and one floppy drive.  Power was supplied from the terminal from a connector on the rear (see below)
